I Could Swear It Wasn't Raining
by David McMillan and Jim Colegrove

Where did those clouds come from
Where’d the sunshine go
The light seemed to fade
As she walked out the door
Now I stare out my window
Watching the rain and teardrops flow
But I could swear it wasn’t raining
Just a minute ago
Was it just my imagination
That made the skies seem so clear
I guess the forecast for our future was wrong
After all these years
Now with the sunshine gone
I can feel the cold north wind blow
But I could swear it wasn’t raining
Just a minute ago
But the rain has come
And driven her and the sunshine away
Our love like the weather
Has changed from day to day
Now the storm has settled in
Leaving me with a feeling so low
But I could swear it wasn’t raining
Just a minute ago
